After two decades at Microsoft as a senior leader within international sales and marketing, Eva Fors has recently left the corporate world to become CEO at startup company Yanzi Networks – a VC backed company which has developed an Internet of Things platform for smart buildings.
During her 20 years at Microsoft, Eva held over ten different positions spanning from sales to marketing to products. Her last role at Microsoft was as the COO for Microsoft Sweden and prior to that Eva worked as European Sales Manager for Emerging Technologies.
Eva is passionate about startups and entrepreneurs with multiple engagements. She has been a member of the board for the connected cars startup Greater Than, and member of the board of non-profit organisation Connect Öst, which brings entrepreneurs and venture capitalists together. She has also been a regular member of the jury for Venture Cup, a competition for those looking to develop their business idea and start a business.
Eva is a key figure in the Stockholm tech start up community and has coached several young female professionals, and is a speaker on diversity and female leadership. In 2015 she won Women in Tech Sweden’s Leadership Award which recognises a leading woman who has led an important technology development or innovation, made a significant contribution to the media and technology industries, and inspires others.
