Jeanette Dyhre Kvisvik

Jeanette used to run a startup in New York. During that time, she lived in the heart of the shopping district of Soho. Even as a style lover, she had neither the time nor the means to shop. So she started to play with the idea of creating the next generation shopping experience on mobile – a sort of Instagram that allows style lovers to shop everything they see. Style icon and influencer Alexa Chung shared this vision, and they started the journey launching our service from New York in the fall of 2015.

Jeanette has admitted to having a love-hate relationship with being an entrepreneur. On the one hand, it is hard work to create and build something new. On the other hand, she likes to take chances instead of walk the beaten path, and take action more than talk. In general, she thinks women are too afraid to take chances. Her single most important advice is to be ready to adjust your course as entrepreneurs set out on their journey. It is like a sailing trip, as you can never foresee the weather or challenges ahead.
