Mary is the global CEO of the CoderDojo Foundation, responsible for CoderDojo’s operations and growth worldwide. With 850 coding clubs in 62 countries, CoderDojo currently reaches 40,000+ kids & young people, aged between 7 & 17 on a weekly basis & is growing rapidly.
Previously a partner at Accenture, she also filled managing director, CEO, COO & Talent / HR Director roles within Accenture & at International Financial Services, Professional Services and High-Tech clients.
She is a board member of the Dublin Fringe Festival, the Professional Women’s Network, the working groups at The Telco and Internet Federation, The ICT skills group at IBEC and the Digital Working Group at the Institute of International and European Affairs.
At Accenture, she lead sales and delivery of programmes that successfully defined & delivered double digit improvement strategic change, globally, across a range of industries, in particular within the media, communications, technology, banking & insurance sectors. She was a leader in the management consulting practice, leading both the CRM & High Tech. She was also a lead faculty member of Accenture’s Global University & a Global sponsor of diversity & inclusion.
Mary is an author of pieces relating to technology, digital economy, business start ups & performance, education & strategic change management and has spoken on these themes at international conferences. She has also won many awards which recognise her contribution to the tech industry.
