Miriam is an entrepreneur, NED and advisor to early stage companies and corporations starting new businesses. Her expertise is at the juncture of fashion, consumers, and technology. Miriam has spent her career growing companies across borders. Her career has taken her from the heart of fashion in NY to the digital hub in Silicon Valley, to the UK, Germany, and the rest of Europe.
Miriam has held senior executive roles in large global firms such as TJX, eBay, and P&C. She drove innovation, developed industry partnerships, and helped to create a fashion voice at eBay as VP Global Head of Fashion for the $9.7 billion fashion business. Miriam served on the Executive Board at P&C, leading New Business, E-Commerce, and Marketing.
Her passion is helping early stage businesses to grow, including her current work as Chief Merchant at navabi, and previous work as CEO of Koodos through to sale and as consultant to the CEO at NET-A-PORTER.
Miriam advises the founders of startups, companies leveraging technology to innovate new customer propositions. She works with the founders on a long-term basis focusing on strategy, business growth, merchandising, branding, and user experience.
Miriam has been featured in the WSJ, IBD, Fast Company, New York Times, WWD, FT, TW, and Drapers. She has been a featured speaker at many conferences in the US, UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain. She has taught master classes on digital innovation at Boston College Carroll School of Management, The Royal College of Art and Imperial College London.
